To do war or not to do war that is the question! Instead of Shakespeare, its Deepak Kapoor’s war song, Indian army chief who is aggrandizing and blowing his guns at China and Pakistan by scuffling in a tirade and combat argument for certain maneuvers and some purposes known to him. The irony is further triggered when a recent statement of alliteration came from another Indian general that abnegates and contradicts Deepak Kapoor’s war axiom, “We lag far behind in infrastructure development,” General Officer Commanding, Northern Command, Lieutenant General BS Jaswal, told media. Amazingly another Indian army officer joins in the ridiculous contradiction and says: “The Indian armed forces have activated three airfields at Daulat Beg Oldi, Fukche and Nyoma, about 220-250 km east of Leh since May 31, 2008. But only AN 32 transport planes can land there. “They have little operational value,” he further added. The question that arises in minds of a common reader that what is all this about? Also, there is a special program for peace; “Aman ki aasha” that is hovering over the two country’s diplomatic fields.

Why would a junior officer, even a general disagree publicly with his chief? This depicts the little discipline, lack of harmony and old habit of creating scene to gain nothing but bad fame by the Indian army. The staunch and solid reaction by the Pakistani officials, a series of serious hammering statements by the Prime Minister yousaf raza gilani, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Chief of army staff, Ishfaq pervaiz kiani forced the Indian think tank to revise this policy of literary battle. On overall scoring points, Pakistan did win the moral support of the international community owing to the irresponsible statement by Deepak Kapoor and now even general from Indian army are supporting the reality and backing Pakistan’s standpoint indirectly. When war is justified, India will find Pakistan’s standpoint clearer.

War is a horrible disease and the historic viewpoint of wars fought between India and Pakistan are similar to mirrors where wounds of an injured body can be seen clear and transparent. Having said that Pakistan army and Pakistani people are bravest in the world and any impartial person agrees to that. The Muslims are never afraid of so-called term,” War “as their only outcome is either martyr or survivor (Shaheed or Ghazi respectively). Although the peace prevailing environment is always a golden period for any country and especially a poor and developing country like Pakistan. The following extract explains why war is hazardous,”Give me the money that has been spent in war and I will clothe every man, woman, and child in an attire of which kings and queens will be proud. I will build a schoolhouse in every valley over the whole earth. I will crown every hillside with a place of worship consecrated to peace, “said Charles Sumner.

The taboo of “Aman ki aasha” is an already failed cause, missed shot and totally irrelevant to the Indo-Pak or Hindu-Muslim psychology over history. The ambassador of peace, Quad-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, could not settle the deceiving, two-faced and hypocritical policy of the congress and Hindus in general and declared in a sad tone, “This is parting of the ways”. The modern era comprises of same congress and same Hindu mentality and icing the cake makes presence of no one as sincere, dedicated and respected like Quaid-e-Azam. One must be aware of such strange efforts like “Aman ki Aasha” which is similar to action of closing of eyes on seeing a cat. The cat of Indian brooding and conceptualization subsists out there in demeanor and form of Deepak Kapoor’s war song and we are playing on the lute of peace, what a waste of time and effort!
